"Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die." "Each conquest is paid for with an expulsion, each occupation with a loss." J.B. Pontalis Guided by this motto, the installation connects numerous cultural-historical aspects of paradise with one another. The lottery tickets can be bought. Recoded as letters, the numbers on the lottery tickets form the word "Paradies". The image over the host is a quote from Hieronymus Bosch's paradise-triptychon, depicting Eve's appearance before Adam in the Garden of Eden."And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
